For most generic TLDs (like .com or .net) activation is usually within minutes after successful payment. Some country-code TLDs (such as .lu) may take a little longer depending on the registry or any additional checks.

Yes. To transfer a domain you typically need to unlock it at your current registrar, obtain the EPP/Auth code, and ensure the contact email is up to date. 

For most TLDs, the remaining time is not lost: the transfer adds an additional year to your current expiry date. Exact behaviour depends on the registry rules for each extension, so always check the expiry date shown in your client area after the transfer completes.

Yes. You can point your domain to your own nameservers or to third-party DNS providers from within the client area. Changes may take some time to propagate globally due to DNS caching. We also support GLUE Records.

In many cases you can update contact details, but some TLDs do not allow owner changes without a formal trade or transfer. If you need to change the legal owner, please open a ticket so we can advise per TLD.

If a domain is not renewed in time it will enter an expired state. Depending on the TLD and registry rules it may or may not be recoverable, and additional restoration or redemption fees can apply. Please contact us as soon as possible if this happens.

Transfer times vary by TLD and current registrar. Some transfers complete almost instantly after approval, while others can take up to 5–14 days depending on registry rules.
